Gorillaz did the hologram thing ages and the world couldn't believe it. Then several years later, Snoop and Dre did it wit 2pac and once again the world couldn't believe it

I can see it being 5 years until someone sucessfully attempts to do it again on a big scale, that's enough time to progress the technology enough to actually shock people

So it occured to me this weekend that IF the Foos wanted to do any kind of tribute to Kurt (Of course would understand if they didn't) , in a way which was a little more tasteful and a little less directly Nirvana. Why not get Mark Lanegan up on stage to sing "In the Pines/Where Did you Sleep Last Night" with them?

...ok so that's more of a fantasy then anything else.
