jump
i wouldnt say theyve toured the hell out of the reunion, they did 3 uk shows in 2008, and 2 in 2010. I was more just saying a band about the same size as them aka a big name thats a bit more feasable that ac/dc. devilman
I missed them by in the old days and have only seen them twice since they reformed. I'd be happy with another greatest hits set. The more I see them the more I like them! Apart from the political bollox rants, I take the opportunity to stare at young girls whilst they are doing that. biffoire
I saw them once back in the day and once since reforming and the former was excellent, the latter was pretty dull.

thegremlin_1999
If rage celebrated 20 years since the debut by playing it in its entirety like 'tallica did with black/ride the lightening/MoP then it could have something special? Maybe get the prodigy doing the same with fat of the land (15 years) as a Friday headliner?
biffoire
I was at leeds 08. Metallica 1 RATM 0.
mrtourette
I think album-specific sets are dangerous, they aren't as special as people think. If you see RATM there's a good chance they'll play most of their first album anyway.
Guitargeek
Pearl Jam/RATM/Tool= Greatest festival headliners of all time. If they happened to pull those 3 out of the bag there's no way I'd miss it for anything. Gojira to sub for Tool, Deftones for Rage and someone equally awesome for PJ. Oh my. mrtourette
Metallica blew everything away at Reading, I thought both Rage and The Killers sounded quite muted but Metallica were so loud and clear. Dan R
Metallica were fantastic at leeds, but RATM were better at both their 2010 shows.

biffoire
Gojira to sub! That's like saying Dragonforce should headline.

Andre91
Who would you guys book as the 3 headliners? I'd go for SOAD, Paramore & RATM.
Babyquack
Never been to Soni before but for me, a good headliner and a great undercard is what'll persuade me to try it out - never seen RATM so that'd be nice...

thejimbola
Seriously... SOAD, Pearl Jam & My Chemical Romance (to sell tickets and make sure it isn't cancelled again)

kipper64
http://www.kerrangra...2013-uk-return/ Good wee 3 minute interview with Mr Galbraith on that one for anyone interested. The TL;DR version is, they're just about to announce Spain which will have 2 events (Barcalona and Madrid). They've already announced 2, and there's at least 2 more they are making "good progress on" (I imagine that's the UK and Finland). Talks abit about the cancellation and stuff too, and how they definitely left it too late last time - so I don't think they'll be making that mistake again. lharris92
think the two with good progress will be poland and finland with the uk leg being worked on last

gazza_20
Something fairly realistic, something I would enjoy and something that I would imagine would sell a decent amount of tickets would be: My Chemical Romance Linkin Park System of a Down Would have Paramore co headline with My Chem but play before them... dont really care for Paramore but they would help sell tickets also.
