I thought you said they had 2 weak headliners and were still in talks with the 3rd headliner and it wouldn't go ahead without this big band. Now they have 2 strong headliners.

As I said a while ago, you're talking bull, but keep up the guesswork based on what everyone else already knows.

Yes they announced an announcement which one can only presume will be about bands and therefore my previous point still stands. They wouldn't initiate anything unless they thought they had something worth doing.

They publicly stated there'd be a Sonisphere in 2013; there wasn't. They've now publicly stated they'll be a Sonispshere in 2014.

Care to tell me how it's not reasonable to think it might pan out the same as it did over the last year?

Yeah. Announcements gonna be "within the next 2 weeks". With DL announcing tomorrow and it being a bit soon to not have a firm date it's more than likely going to be the following week.

While I keep thinking Metallica might play, I just read a quote from James who said they intend to tour with the Through the Never stage set. Which makes me think that may be an indoor thing.

My guess is Maiden, Sabbath, ACDC.

They didn't officially confirm it did they? What bands did they start announcing? Sounds a little made up. It wasn't cancelled because it was never going ahead in the first place. Reasonable - of course but the replies here have been anything but in my opinion - but that's just my opinion.

So, Sonisphere 2014 then - I would quite happily put a large amount on it happening in 2014.
