It wouldn't hurt that's for sure - LN do tend to put gigs/tours on for bands that play DLF

Nine Inch Nails, Rolling Stones, Muse are 3 of the larger recent ones

Alright then. I just had a skim over the Kili website and Band of Skulls and Red Fang would be nice for me - and Nine Inch Nails but that'd be optimistic. They also recently did Vista Chino and the Marky Ramone/Andrew WK thingy, both of which would be cool too.

Not necessarily, although it helps if the band in question already has a strong disliking for their main competitior and is touring around the same time

I think Jeff's been on the wind-up since his first post. Probably an ex-poster (or current one) using a different name with an axe to grind.

That wasn't me suggesting it, it was their Twitter feed. Personally, no I can't see why Sonisphere would be mentioning these names, seems very weird for it to completely change audience, whilst keeping it's name.

I t5hink the "acknowledgement" was them cancelling the event.
