our prayers have been answered. Looks like he's hitting the road for yet another world tour. No UK dates announced yet but it is a certainty he'll be coming to London at the very least I'd have thought.

This could be your last chance to see the great man, he must be almost 80 now! what is he thinking doing another world tour!!

He was magnificent at the O2 4 years ago or whenever it was.

I recall being on holiday to one of those horrible greek islands somewhere years ago and meeting a dutch girl called Marion. Anyway, I blagged to her that "so long marianne" was actually "so long marion" and played the song and dedicated it to her. She thought it was incredibly romantic and I ended up slotting her that night.

Post your Len Cohen memories here!

Hi, i have been on tne ticket web site, but it seems they are not selling standing at £65, only £85 upwards, and when you try and get tickets they are coming up at £95, so I dont know iof all £65 standing tickets are sold out, or maybe they never offered them for sale. I would much rather stand, and am reluctant to spend £95 on a seat that may be a rubbish seat at that.

Does anyone know if standing £65 tickets went on sale please?

I bought a ticket for this. £95+booking fees.

£104 in total (ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR POUNDS).

I feel numb.

I believe there are no standing tickets are there? It's all seater I thought. £85 or £95.

It's going to be weird sitting down at an outside gig. NO alcohol and NO food allowed in the arena bit either. I'm going alone, I simply couldnt afford to buy the missus a ticket too. I think I'll drive down, take the gig in sober and drive home afterwards. A sober gig, first time ever.

Supposedly it's a 3 hour set. Seeing as it is almost certain that this will be Leonard's last ever performance in the UK I HAD to pay those scandalous prices.

At www.eventim.co.uk you can pick your specific seat and see exactly where it will be.

LC at Glasto will remain one of my treasured memories. But I'll have to stick with that as I'll be on a holiday in British Columbia, Canada then (Big O birthday present to Mrs Grumpyhack).

£85 and a trip to Kent would be a temptation though.

Really gutted that there's only 1 UK show on the tour and it's so poorly located.

The insane ticket pricing I could live with, but not when it's combined with the hassle of having to drive over 6 hours in one day even before any event traffic delays (and 50+ quid Petrol costs). Can't see any sane way of getting there + back via Public Transport unless maybe you can find someone running a coach trip.

Surely for a 1 day event there's somewhere sensible in London or another city that could be found?

I'd been doing the maths on going to the normal Hop Farm Festival as it's got such a good lineup this year, but them pulling this kind of shit has completely turned me off.

I have heard that it is likely he will be back I'm the UK in 2013 to do some more normal arena type gigs.

there is absolutely no guarantee of this, it's just something I read on the LC forums.

even if that is true, prices will probably be 70 quid plus.the question is whether this out door gig would be better than an O2 type gig. but then again he might end up in the royal Albert hall or Manchester opera house type places, who knows.

wherever he plays I doubt you'll ever see change out of 70 quid at best.
