Campervan as transport

Hi, I've recently got rid of my car and now only have my campervan as my vehicle. Am I allowed to drive this to Download and go in the car parks, or will they refuse me as I haven't got a campervan ticket?

Cheers - what's the walk like to Blue campsite generally - I believe that's where we're staying? Last time I was at Donington was for Monsters of Rock in 96!!

the walk to blue isn't so bad if you dont have a lot of shit on your back. its just the stopping (dropping your stuff) and starting(picking it back up) while queuing to actually get into Download that can be a bit of nightmare for some. ive been doing it since 2005 and its part and parcel of the festival. but once your tent and stuff is up, its all forgotten about for another year

I normally just take my tent and a few beers with me to queue, and leave the rest of the stuff in the car, then just go back for it once i'm set up and stick it all on a sledge. Find it a lot easier than queueing with all my shit
