BigC
I've just seen a video from Reading 2007, and the crowd looked so far away from the band! Is it that far at Leeds, and are you really as far away as it seems?
Vieuphoria
Depends what stage and where you are? Main-stage the barrier is quite a bit away from the mainstage, but if you are in the front area you can still see very clearly. The further you go back the less close you are (obviously) but you can still see the band. Also depends on how packed it is. Pictures and videos do tend to make it look future than it is to be honest. Edited April 22, 2012 by Vieuphoria
Ed209
Its probably about 10m at the main stage. Will be the same for Reading and Leeds. As has been said, videos make it look a lot larger than it is when you're actually there. Only idiots spend their time getting to the front anyway ... in my ageing opinion. Would much rather have some more space to dance in. Also at R&L, being at the front inevitably means having crowd surfers plant their doc martins into your skull every 10 seconds.
