johnl
Don’t forget the tenner booking fee either! It’s always been expensive relatively speaking but you do get a nice view!
DomDom1984
With Chemical Brothers headlining a smaller festival in Bluedot, would it be too ambitious to hope for them here?
DomDom1984
The big announcement is Tuesday at 12pm.
retrokev
anyone got any thoughts on headliners
DomDom1984
Paul Weller was there performing with Noel two years ago and then there as a visitor last year so I'm kinda expecting him to be on the lineup. I suspect that they'll pull at least one out that nobody will think of, but I suppose you could say The The fall under that category. robskyd
I've a sneaking feeling it's going to be Future Islands... Only because we've got tickets for Blue Dot and every year without fail we get to see one band twice at festivals! Has anyone mentioned Elbow yet !! betharm
Half an hour to go!
The Night Tripper
Friendly Fires, Franz Ferdinand, Jessie Ware, Everything Everything, Django Django, Ride, Anna Calvi, Suggs, Will Self.
johnl
Great line up for me. Will seriously consider going back after giving it a miss last year.
dirty_dog
lineup is a bit poo but I'll still be there
DomDom1984
Looks okay. Most of the top end acts are ones I quite like and haven't seen yet. The Charlatans can fuck off though.
wonker
Really disappointing spread this year. I thought this was the year that I was going to give it a go, but not with that line-up.
robskyd
Another solid set of acts this year in my opinion. Manchester Camatara playing Northern Soul sounds like a lot of fun. To be honest this festival is more than the headliners!

Crazy that The Charlatans haven't actually played this before given that Tim's been there most/all years. The line up's something I'd be pleased with if I had a ticket already but wouldn't be rushing for my wallet to get to. Seems pretty solid to me. the wonderwhy
Just had a proper look at the undercard and its stacked with great stuff. Actually one of the better ones for this festival - I normally get three or four lines down and kinda lose interest. Weirdly, I like all three headliners but am feeling kinda meh about them. Probably because one of them is Franz Ferdinand and they belong on this year's Reading lineup.
zzzfest
I posted this to Electric Fields thread yesterday — I now post the same query here, too. Does anybody who has attended both Electric Fields and Festival No.6 give me a suggestion — if you have to choose one, which will you recommend to me? The lineups are in a tie for me this year. I attended Festival No.6 four times (including the shambolic 2016), but have never done Electric Fields. I can’t make both for financial reason. Any comments welcome. Thanks in advance. DomDom1984
Would it be too much to hope for Tom Jones as a special guest?
robskyd
Probably Tom O'Connor !!
DomDom1984
Hurts, Baxter Dury, Billy Lockett and Pale Honey added. I like the addition of Hurts, but reckon they'll headline the Pavilion, so will clash with a sub, which could lead to a fairly horrible clash. johnl
Hurts are playing the main stage according to the blurb. Pleased to be going back this year. Outside of the APE stuff it’s my favourite lineup of the year.
DomDom1984
That's great news that. I was thinking The Charlatans might even headline the Pavilion which would be even better.
zzzfest
Friendly Fires and Franz Ferdinand are weak headliners for the main stage, especially the former. Why not The Charlatans instead?
