I'd be surprised if they played FR-NME/R1-FR in consecutive years, although there's nothing to say that they can't.

This may be quite Naive... but Refused? Not likely but they aren't huge. I guess there is no logical place for them though with lock-up on fri and sun and atd-i on sat. I just want them to play so badly

Yeah they're the right size to play high-up or probably headline the tent, it's just unusual for an act to go straight back to the FR stage after being promoted to the NME/R1, especially without anything new released.

FR have them booked for Latitude and there's a gap in their tour dates between the 10th of August and the 1st September so I'd say there's more than a fair chance of it happening.

I spoke to Brian from Japandroids after their gig in glasgow a couple weeks back and they said they hadnt been approached to play this year...
