just got back from watching the subways. I thought it was a pretty decent gig and would be a welcomed FR headliner. That being said it didnt sell well at all. I got my ticket at 7 in the evening and this was in boro!

Feeder up as a strong rumour. Cant see anywhere else they would play. Unless they've sunk so low as to play BBC Introducing.

I can see Ladyhawke playing on this stage.

I'd like to see Clock Opera, Alabama Shakes, Blood Orange, Frank Ocean, Marina, Theme Park, Toy, Niki & The Dove, Sleigh Bells & Team Me. Few of those & I'll be happy.

I would think Toy would be nailed on.

I'd like to see Toy, Niki and the Dove, We Are Augustines, Frazer King, Ladyhawke, Unions, Dum Dum Girls, Austra, The Narrows, Daniel Land and the Modern Painters, PINS, Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Tying Tiffany, Royal Republic, and so many others.

Lots of these could play BBC Introducing stage as well.

I said Feeder, The Subways and The Drums to headline a while ago. Great minds think alike Although I could maybe see Kids In Glass Houses headlining it now. Any idea when it'll be announced?

No official indication, only thing to go by is assuming it'll be roughly the same as previous years.

Searched for threads containing "announcement" in the R&L area, on the second page there's a thread called "how often are the announcements" that contains the information that last year the FR announcement was on June 13th, in 2010 on June 14th and in 2009 on June 9th.

Without any confirmation that's the best information you can use to make an educated guess, although of course they can make announcements whenever the hell they like.

Alabama Shakes are starting to look like one of the hottest bands on NME's radar at the moment, if they're playing they'd have to headline in order to keep that tent from being ludicrously over-subscribed.

Last year the FR headliners were on the original poster along with the alternative stage so I really dont know.
