Alabama shakes will sub I reckon. Feeder and The Subways sounds uninspiringly right.

I really have hope the FR stage will be amazing for me to make up for the rest of it, especially through the day.

I'd take Feeder/KIGH, Best Coast/Beach House, SSPU/Alabama Shakes

I'm thinking The XX headlining the NME on the Sunday at Reading next year, as the dance (sort of) headliner.

If the next album is as big as the first then yeah, but I don't think they have as big as a fan base as Doherty or The Horrors, plus in regards to the Mercury prize thing... Horrors won album of the year twice in a row and I'm pretty sure Sea Within A Sea was top single?

They're definitely bigger than The Horrors, obviously not as much of a household name as Doherty. but as said, they had large success with their debut album and are sub-headlining Bestival this year. I know it's a smaller festival, but given that they're hardly gonna take an FR headline slot.

I'm not saying I don't love them, I just think they've got a lot to prove before being given big slots

I can't wait for the second to see if the debut was a fluke or not

I shouldn't have ran my mouth, on their last tour they did actually play Shepherds Bush!

But still, that was in 2010 at the height of their fame, people have lost interest

I doubt they could sell out Rock City or even The Engine Shed

They haven't been touring for the last year so I doubt anyone can really predict what size venue they could sell out. But considering when they were announced as a sub at Bestival it was pretty well received, they obviously haven't dropped off the radar too much. Plus they'll have another album out by next year.
