Bands you've discovered (since lienup announcement)

One of my favourite things about Leeds and Reading is it presents you with a lot of bands you may not have heard before and there are often some real gems in there. Just wondering what bands others have discovered since the lineup announcement. I've really been enjoying Blood red shoes and Ceremony

Tough Love is their second album, but better than the first in my opinion. Album of the year so far for me.

I listened to Of Monsters and Men the other day, didn't rate them in the slightest! Give Howler another go to but I'm still not liking them much.

I heard Blood Red Shoes and Twin Atlantic ages ago but I've given them another go since and enjoyed them even more. I love ATDI now too!

Mastodon are alright and I listened to Graham Coxon's solo stuff, fucking shit

As others have said, Of Monsters And Men are really good. It'll be a shame to miss PABH for them, but I've seen them before, and OMAM will be a truly inspiring start to the festival (at Leeds).

Also really liking Mastodon. I felt a tinge of disappointment when I heard a track of theirs during the Soni announcement and really liked it, as it was supposedly their only appearance, but I guess that all wound up okay!

Apart from that not as much as I would've hoped, there are a few others to chase up like Passion Pit and Here We Go Magic but I'm mainly waiting for the FR announcement so I can decide what I'm doing during the slots I'm not sure about yet. Fingers crossed for some great bands I've never heard of!

Anyone see blood red shoes on the bbc introducing stage on the thursday evening 2009? Been into them since then and love them.

I saw them in the NME tent in 2008 (I think because they were on before Be Your Own Pet), and have enjoyed them ever since. I'm not particularly feeling their new album yet though, it seems to lack the punch of their previous ones.
