the order of the announcements

the way they've been announcing the stages this year has been completely different to previous years from what i can remember anyway

and the way the line-up is set out on the website is odd as well with the lock up being on friday and saturday and then sunday being blank with the dance stage being above it instead of in that gap

is there something new happening that i'm unaware of? or is it just the website fucking up?

also is the nme stage completely done now or do they still have additions?

The only thing that's happening is that they've exercised their right to do it differently. What's released when tends to differ slightly from year to year anyway, last year it was unusual for them to release the FR headliners in the initial annoucement.

And the NME/R1 tent is done.

Nope Sunday reading, there is one less band, Is there a longer set somewhere or something? I keep forgetting there are two festivals. Theres one less saturday aswell, than friday. (and yes that includes the competition winner)

And of course, theres still the unannounced slot on the lockup. I love how they reorganise the website to hide these.

There's eleven acts on the Friday and ten acts on the Saturday and Sunday at Reading, the same as last year.

On Saturday last year there was an 'legendary' US band and on Sunday there was a dance headliner and they both got longer sets. This year there's a 'legendary' US band on the Saturday and a dance headliner on the Sunday.
