Hey guys, getting pretty excited about Rockness. 4 weeks tomorrow!!

About to start writing my list for things I need to buy/take with me. Can anyone tell me if theres anythign i've missed.

Essentials: Ticket, tent, sleeping bag, pillow, cosy covers

Clothes: trousers, leggings, tops, cardi, big rain jacket, wellies, hate, plenty of socks & underwear

Toiletries: Hairbrush, hairbobbles, dry shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, paracetomol, deodrant, body spray, ear plugs, toilet paper, handgel, babywipes.

Booze: Crate of cider, bottle of Jaeger, vodka & Mixer, sex on the beach for bus :)

Food: 3 disposable bbq's, 2 coolbags with frozen sausages, burgers etc, crisps, chocoalte bars, fruit.

Ok, what have I missed? Probably something really important haha

Duck tape, and make sure you put ur toilet paper in a water tight bag otherwise you will be wiping ur arse with soggy toilet paper :D handy to take a empty plastic bottle to fill with water when you are there.

I will probz not take anywhere near as much stuff as that though! :) I try to travel as light a possible and take as much booze as possible

Only kidding. Duck tape is a good idea. I'd also say a roll of bin bags is always worth bringing, they can be used to patch up a tent in an emergency, you can wear them and you can stick your rubbish in them!

Bin bags always proves handy.

In your clothing you listed 'hate'. How do you wear hate? Just gonna walk aroud with a total cracked dish?

also... if remember rightly... didnt they stop us taking bbq's in back in 2010?

ahh ok. i must be remembering wrong.

i know they take gas canisters off you tho. they did that to me in 08. was totrure. we didnt bring any money and all our food was stuff we had hoped to heat with that. ended up living off crisps and bread

Nothing is essential except money and yourself, all else can be bought there!

However I shall be bringing...

On my person...

  • Wellies, jeans + usuals like underwear & t-shirt

  • Wallet with ticket, money, ID & bank card

  • Cheap ass mobile phone(battery lasts about 5 days!)

In/on my bag...

  • Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat & pillow

  • 2 pairs of shorts, 4 t shirts, 4 boxers, 5 pairs of socks, 1 hoody, 1 jacket & pair of trainers

  • Empty 2 litre bottle, speaker, batteries, mp3 player, black bags, duct tape & torch

  • Towel, face wash, travel shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair products, moisturizer, Vaseline, baby wipes & deodorant

In 2 of those Tesco canvas/hemp type bags...

  • Fill with as many cans of beer, cider and pre-mixed drinks as possible!
