Justiceforcedave
Ok... so I'm not that old. I used to camp in red as it was a bit quieter then other places and it was near the coach stop, however since they moved the entrance to there, it tends to fill up and lots of people camp there because they can't be arsed to go any further. It is no longer the sleep haven it used to be! Where else it good for those who like there sleep?
pablopablo
Far edge of orange/purple/green/brown. Getting less lively the nearer to brown you go. I reckon purple might be a good shout but i've never camped there so wouldn't know.

Avens
I always used to camp in Brown (2004 - 2007 sort of time) and it was fairly lively without being TOO mental. Going again for the first time since 2008 and also want a quiet place with not too many drunk children (I am a 28 year old teacher; I see enough children!) so this thread is pretty useful. I guess the rule of thumb is the further away you go, the quieter it gets. Just don't camp next to a hedge as you will find yourself pretty much swimming in weewee. Martino231
White is obviously the place to go if you're looking for peace and quiet at night time. Brown and Purple don't tend to be too rowdy either.

Vacant0
White is specifically the quiet camp. Not yellow is my only other answer.

tjamest
White was great last time I went to Reading in 08. Bit of a walk to main areana (45 mins)and i'm not sure where it is in relation to the coach drop off
mrtourette
White is the best for what you're after (and if you're driving it's handy as it has it's own car park) although that comes at the cost of being further away.
