Very possible,would fit the classic headliner that AC likes without having another repeat. I've never really listened to them though and I have no idea how well they'd be recieved.

Imo I'm not too sure, they already doing a UK tour just before Dwonload.

Yeah they're already doing a big UK tour so I'd be surprised but if they sell out early than would be a good shout I guess.

Scott has just done some digging around this, and apparently Sweden is being billed as the only festival they'll be doing .... so it looks as tho my initial guess was entirely wrong.

I quite like them, by that I mean I know some of their material and it's OK, 2112 album is brilliant. I did watch them on Sky Arts over the weekend and they are one of the tightest live bands ever and Neil Peart is one of the best technical drummers around. However, they are one of the dullest live bands I've seen (on TV) - it may just have been a bad show I'm not sure.

That's a shame, I fancy seeing them and it looks like the only way would be a festival, their tour tixs are going for £75 plus booking fees.

Saw them last year and going again next May. I hope they don't do Download as that means I'll have chucked a shed load of cash away on them a month before. they are a brilliant band but they aren't a festival, "get you up" type of band. It's all about the music with them and so I can see how they could be taken as dull. Most of their gigs are all seating.

Damn. I'd have liked to see them but their tour is too expensive to justify bothering considering I only like 2 of their albums.
