Nothing to lose

Typically, I all of a sudden have the 9th and 10th June free. Normally this would be unheard of, but recently I've lost quite a lot - jobs, home, self respect, confidence, family (sob sob, yeah yeah) and I now have a weekend where I am doing absolutely nothing and could do with a good day/night out. So, with quite definitely nothing left to lose, it has to be worth asking if anybody wants to give me a free ticket. Unlikely I know, but as I've said once or twice, nothing to lose here. Not sure I can make the whole weekend, and if I had to choose I'd probably plump for the Saturday as a one-dayer (Ginger Wildheart!) but whatever.

I'd probably be tempted to buy a ticket if it was an option, if I could find the money. Lost all that too. Well, I say lost, I never really had much anyway, but it keeps the theme going y'know.

So, one in a gazillion chance, but as some annoying bastard once said, if you don't ask you don't get. He probably ignored the person who pointed out that if you do ask you not only frequently don't get, you also sometimes get the added bonus of a face full of abuse and/or a fist.

Hope things pick up for you mate, sounds like a rough time. Iv heard of quite a few competitions going on for tix so probably worth entering a few.
