First time at Rockness.. Cash Points?

I am a fairly seasoned festival goer however having not been to Rockness before i was wondering what the cash point situation is like. I am taking my daughter and her friend along with my partner and am responsible for all the money. I don't really want to be taking that much in cash with me the first day.

What are the cash points like.. are there enough to access

Cashpoints last year had ridiculous queues. I reckon I'd struggle to even guess how many people were waiting.

feck... might be an idea to just lift half of what I need so I only need to que once... dont fancy carting £400 quid round with me from the Friday you see... thanks for the quick reply

I think if you head down early enough to a cash point, you'd be fine.

^^ That could be correct. I never tried to go near it before around 2pm.

If you're driving I'd suggest leaving cash in your car. Would be waaay quicker nipping off to the motor than waiting around to use the cashpoint.

Safer than carrying it all about on your person too.

From what I've seen myself i'd have to agree that if you go pretty early (before 8am) then the queues won't be as bad if there's any at all.

yeah we dont have a car so wont be able to do that... wish we did could take tons of food that way also. Hoping there are some veggie options at Rock Ness.. thanks guys.. x

Don't go to the cash points at the obvious busy times and you will be fine! I never seen any big queues last year! but I was probably doing fun things at the time! I have never used a cash machine at a Festival but I think it would charge you a few quid as well

Last year there was a veg van if I remember right. Best sweet potato soup ever!

Quite a few Veggie options IIRC, don't know so much about Vegan but certainly plenty of options for Veggies.

Queues got bigger as the weekend went on by the Sunday there was a fairly big wait for your money.

i waite dwell over an hour at the cash point last year it was a nightmare i would just take what you need for the full wknd
