Find it unusual that there are still so many tickets available, sign of the times though. Anyone know how many they've sold? Can not see this one selling out, the pretty boring line up won't help

The only thing sold out on gigs and tours is the Saturday only tickets at Weston Park

I think its great festivals are struggling...they've been able to rest on their laurels for far too long, churning out shite line-ups knowing it'd sell out anyway...now they'll have to up their games a little bit...result for us punters

No doubt the prices once you're at the festival will also turn people off. They just got too greedy.

Creamfields has sold out 3 day camping and other types of tickets maybe that is a sign of the times...less guitar and more DJ maybe?

To be fair, I think V has its strongest line-up for ages this year. Totally kicks Reading's ass (apart from the Foo's & Black Keys...and a couple of smaller bands like Vaccines/Cribs/Bombay)

I can see myself getting a ticket after swearing I'd never go back...although it would mean sleeping rough for a few days (not whilst camping, when my missus finds out and kicks me out)

Depends what you class as a 'major festival'.....Kendal Calling has sold out for the second year running (this year earlier than last year)....its a cracking festival, a hidden gem. It's good to see organisers who consider their audience....

I'm caught between a rock and a hard place for next year - dont know if my budget/holidays will stretch to both Kendal and Glasto as I'm also doing 2 weeks in the US in September....decisions, decisions

Was looking on seetickets yesterday and there are weekend with camping tickets available again for both venues. (Red is sold out but yellow available at Chelmsford).
