Let's Make Friends! I'm attending on the Tod thread

I'm a veteran Reading-goer (2004 - 2008) but then I stopped going cos I felt too old.

What better way to celebrate my still-youth than going to Reading, aged 28, not knowing a soul, thinking "I'll pitch my tent and meet randoms?"

This is exactly what I'm aboot. 28 year old ancient (woman) with indie girl tendencies seeks likeminded to camp/at least make friends with!

Looks like im going on my own to. Was going with partner but a split has left me going along. When at download recently saw a thing that had been set up called camp loner that had a wnole group of people who where there alone meeting/camping. Cant find one for leeds/reading tho.

Right, i'm pretty much the opposite end. I'm a 16 year old boy, just going to mosh and have a good time. I went last year but only for sunday so i'm a camping virgin. I don't really want to camp in anything too active this year.

I never planned on going on my own. My friends told me back in March they'd buy tickets nearer the time. But they have no money now. So i'm on my lonesome. And sorta scared about being by myself. So i'd be much more than happy to make new friends.

Okey dokey, sounds like a good idea and unless I have any friends that decide last minute they want to go. Looks like i'll be joining you just out of curiosity, do you know if there are many people my sorta age doing it

My friends also decided to bail on me! i've been to reading four times (07,08,09,10) this will be my first year on my own at the age of 23, looking forward to it!

No longer attending on my tod- managed to convince a friend to come along! - but there are still only 2 of us so if anybody wants to join our camp, we can make it happen!

I'm going with my fiancée, but she's a late sleeper and I'm an early riser, which means hours of wandering around on my lonesome in the mornings! Would be good to meet a few people around Leeds
