he said some stuff about Carroll, yep, but everything was couched in more general terms about how it can be good for a player to go out on loan sometimes.

I'm pretty sure it was him having to answer questions from journos, while not trying to make what he was saying just about Carroll.

It's pretty standard manager stuff. He might think Carroll is shit, but any sensible manager is going to try and swerve saying anything which can be taken as him specifically saying that a he thinks a particular player is shit.

Yep can't find anything respectable saying he's off. I mean he might, but there's very little coming out of the club so any rumours will be guesswork. Would have thought he would stay another season.

How long ago was it that Man U fans were praising Fergie's sense and wisdom in plumping for him for £5m more than Tevez? I know the latter had his sulk, but I'm willing to bet even with getting fat playing golf in South America for half the season he won City more points than Berbatov won Man U.

Berbatov was good when united were playing well, he didn't score many when it mattered.

Tevez is a match winner, simple as that. Amount of equalizers and winning goals for united was awsome.

Uniteds success is built on teamwork and togetherness, did tevez fit into that? Probably not by his previous and his city career.

He didn't win the league for City anyway. He nearly lost it for them and he fucked them up in the Champions League.

Tevez negotiated a huge 5 year deal with Utd (one he never intended to sign) and then went to City with it for them to beat. Which they did.

I honestly don't think that was the main factor. Really. Not from Rooney anyway. Defo was from his agent though.

P.S. Neil - A lot of Utd fans feel Rooney has permanently dirtied his bib with that move so there isn't as much love there for him as there was.

Also, Utd have people on Brazil at the moment trying to sign this Lucas da Silva kid from Santos. 30m apparently!

He'll end up at Madrid though.

United would be silly to buy any wonder kid from Brazil. Brazil to England just isnt a natural progression. I think it was muc better in the past when they would go to france, holland or portugal but the money in Brazil stops that happening now.
