In a hilarious misunderstanding, Terry was asked to repeat evidence that he had been sent off four times in his career.

“Can you say, please, four times?” asked his QC, George Carter-Stephenson.

“Please, please, please, please,” Terry responded.

Guffaws of laughter broke out around the courtroom at the misunderstanding, which was a result of the judge asking Terry to speak up. The footballer appeared confused by response from the courtroom.

Would agree Tevez made an impact in a couple of games, but slightly harsh criticism in that neither Tevez or Berbatov got the decisive winner in a league game this season. Tevez scored 4 league goals in total, the 3rd goal in the 4-0 against West Brom, and a hat-trick in the 6-1 against Norwich, including the opener (but Aguero got the decisive goal).

Berba, 7 in the league in total; the second goal in Stoke 2-0, 2 goals in the Blackburn 2-3, hat-trick against Wigan 5-0 (2nd,3rd and 5th), and last goal against Fulham 5-0. Openers against Aldershot in CC 3-0, and Benfica in CL 2-2.

Last year Berba had the most winners of any player in the league with 7 compared to Tevez 6 (and Malouda 6), according to Opta.

Wouldn't try to argue he's been a glorious success, though delightful on his day. I've given my fair share of criticism towards him at times, but think it's slightly harsh to be painted as a failure too. Was joint winner of the Golden Boot (without pens/fks) in the season Utd won no.19, when Rooney was having a sulk. 56 in 149 is a pretty decent goal ratio, considering 41 of those were sub appearances and certainly first two years played more as a support striker. Didn't make the impact in Europe Fergie hoped for, and won't make much money back now, but he's 31 now. Slight cliche, but more flickered than shone.

On a tangent Rio's the hottest Japanese Pornstar.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And like that, poof. He's gone. :P

I think most united accepted that a long time ago. I love watching berbatov but he's a bit like Suarez, a luxery player that doesn't really do it when the chips are down.

When berba was leading goalscorer it was a bit false really. In 3 games he got 11 league goals and only managed about 10 more in 35 league games.

But with Hernandez needing to step up and change his game, wellbeck not proven goal scorer, Powell going to be played in midfield berba might get some more chances this season.

Then go on a free next season.

To compare Suarez and Berbatov is silly. Once Suarez decides to leave liverpool he will have a host of top european clubs after him, Berbatov will have much less options. People forget after WC 2010 and copa America 2011 which Uruguay progessed to the last days of the tournament in both that Suarez didnt get a break (untill his ban!) that others got. He has been one of internatinal footballs best players of the last few years and has made a good start in an average liverpool side. I believe Suarez is defintely up there when it comes to the best players in the premiership and expect big things next season.

Really happy we got Rodellaga as he's always looked quality against us. Will be nice having a flairy, creative skillful type upfront instead of Row-Z-Zamora and Andy Johnson lol. Hugo isn't really a goal scorer though, can see him being paired behind someone with a bit more of a goalscoring record... we got some Petric guy on a free so maybe him, but in all honesty I expect us to splash out on someone a bit more proven before the season starts. As it stands we still only have 2 strikers, as Zamora left in Jan and Johnson and Sa were let go - unless Jol intends to give Trotta a proper go.

Jol is building on the team pretty good thus far though, reckon we should be good to push on and upwards from last seasons joint 8th. Will probably lose Dempsey so will need some Godly creative midfielder to replace him, but if we keep the rest of the team together we'll be fine.
