thegremlin_1999
Belting result for the mighty foxes. And against the hated forest too! And my non-league team (hednesford town in the evostik northern prem) were oh-so close to automatic promotion into blue square north. Still, playoffs on Tuesday there. kaosmark2
Top 4 race is insanely close this year. I'd probably say Arsenal are favourites with Chelsea and Spurs playing each other, but someone has to miss out and all teams look in form (results wise at least). Southampton's recent results suggest they might have relaxed a bit early. I know they only conceded late to a Bale wondergoal today, but they got humiliated by WBA last time out. Wigan and Villa winning today means a lot of teams who will have thought themselves safe will be a bit nervy now. There's a few more games that look important now, Sunderland - Stoke, Sunderland - Saints, Saints-Stoke. All 3 teams probably need a couple more points, in Sunderland's case maybe 4. I think there's a chance someone will get relegated with 40 points now. Glad we got the point. Replays make me think the ball crossed the line, but West Ham bossed the last 30 minutes or so and a draw was probably fair overall. Other results mean it's not great, but keeping a clean sheet, getting a full game out of Colo and HBA lasting 65 minutes is positive. Hopefully what we got there is enough to provide a platform to get a vital win at QPR next week.
thetime
What a pivotal week in the relegation battle, if Newcastle don't beat qpr I would imagine there down. I fancy wigan to beat swansea and villa could already be on there holidays. Edited May 4, 2013 by thetime

TheGayTent
Gutierrez - what a c**t. WHU were shit. Newcastle were shit. If I didn't know better I'd have thought it was a meaningless end of season game. Oh and Dowd was shit too. Today wasn't value for money. Deserves to be last on MotD

TheGayTent
pt you talk a lot of sense a lot of the time, but you do like to make the odd presumption. Curbishley not being in a managers role has sweet FA to do with not being interested in non-PL sides What he has said, bears no resemblance to what you believe. kaosmark2
I feel the same, I had a 12 week work placement in Hull and despite hearing all these horror stories about how it was the worst town/city in England I loved it. I also am not a fan of the Watford business model of having such a large dependency of loan players within the squad. Both Bruce and Zola come across as great guys and I have respect that they reacted to disappointment in the premiership by going to the championship and fighting to get back, rather than someone like curbishley who thinks the championship is below him. Have to feel sorry for the young Watford keeper but I got the impression over the season hull deserved it. The championship must be one of the most competitive leagues in Europe this season. It was fascinating watching the promotion races, play offs and relegation changing hands so many times. As for wolves you cant help thinking they were mad sacking mcarthy. Its an amazing relegation battle, everytime you think one team are doomed everything gets turned over. I think that's villa safe, they seem to have the momentum behind them (possible kiss of death from me) and am sure they can pick a point up somewhere. I think its between Wigan, Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich for the final space. I still think wigan are the most likely but your goal difference should worry you. Hello... I'm Johnny Cash
Soooo.... MOTD is coming to iPlayer next season, meaning I'll actually be able to watch it. Which means I need a Premiership team to support - any suggestions? Ground rules - 1) I support Crewe as my first team and that won't change. 2) It's just a bit of light relief, so I'm not interested in a long, soul destroying relegation battle. 3) I want attractive, attacking football, played the right way. 4) Not Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea or Stoke thank you very much. 5) I would prefer a team that's reasonably local to Cheshire, although its not a deal breaker. Thank you!

Essex_George
Why do you need to support a team in the premier league to be able to enjoy it??

Hello... I'm Johnny Cash
Odd selection of teams. Regardless, I don't get why you need a team to support. Surely that only matters if you'd be looking at going to the games?
kaosmark2
The first 3 annoy me for various reasons and I can't really support Crewe and Stoke. Plus they play ugly football. Again, I don't strictly need a team but it'll make it a lot more interesting if I'm rooting for someone.
