Spindles
I wasn't aware I was, I am sure if you read back you will see that I wasn't. I posted my position on player's wages, talking about the money trail between where the money went since 2008 and the rise in player wages and the linked financial interests within the game, with the accusation that this is money laundering on a massive scale. If we could move on (or anyone would like to offer any input on the point detailed on the paragraph above) that would be good. I also don't want to be caught in a cycle of attack and defence, which is why I posted the words I did.

the_hedge
I was reading the comments on the Swindon result from the BBC website when I stumbled across this:- @6 who do you want to see relegated from the Premier League? 1. Aston Villa; the most mundane football club ever. 2. West Ham; Nasty little club with a childish song. 3. Chelsea; lucky team with an old boys culture. Replaced with; Blackpool, Bamber Bridge, USA womens football team Funny because it's true
The Nal
Lucas out for 3 months. Poor bloke. Hope he doesn't become one of those injury prone players. Normal enough to pick up the odd injury here and there, particularly after a knee injury but 3 months is a serious blow. He could find it hard to get his place back when he's fit again.

eFestivals
Hes not competing with Allen is he? Who could keep him out? Adam? I've not seen the 'new' Liverpool play as yet (festies) but from what I've read Allen did the job on Sunday...? Adam was one of those supposedly on the list to get-rid, but perhaps that might change if Lucas is going to be out for a while. Perhaps for Spearing instead. eFestivals
I say I've not seen the 'new' Liverpool yet, but I did watch the match against Hearts last week. While that was clearly a 2nd string side, it was great to watch Sterling develop as a player over the first 15 minutes. He was getting bumped around all over the place to start with but then got the measure of his opponent and started to run rings around him. He was the best player on the park so I wasn't surprised he got picked against City, and I hear he had a good un. ... I don't think he'll be playing against Hearts tomorrow. The Nal
Juve swooping in for Berba late doors. Would be a better option for him.

Spindles
Indeed. I was one of those jumping up and down for him to be signed when he came from spurs, thought he had some moments of real class but never found his place in a team who were designed for a different kind of game than the service he received. Square peg in a round hole rather than a bad footballer, imo.

Spindles
Pretty much spot on, where kagawa looks to fit in perfectly.

pink_triangle
Well yes, but they only signed Rob Green 2 months ago, and surely, surely, he could do better than them? Edited August 29, 2012 by pink_triangle
kaosmark2
I suppose Caesar will follow the money, QPR seem to be a side just randomly picking names out of a hat and throwing money around, there doesnt seem to be any analysis regarding weaknesses of the squad, if a players available then they will buy them. Its completely mad buying green and then someone else a few games into the season. Green is hardly an unknown, if you dont think he is good enough, dont buy him in the first place. I think this will result in a load of individuals who cant play as a team but probably enoug quality to stay up. If I was a QPR fan I would be a bit worried, their business plan seems to have shades of pompey. For anyone interested a great piece by the BBC on out of contract players http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/19405554 I have really noticed in recent years clubs tightening their belts which have pushed better players further down the league system. I have no doubt that current wrexham players would be playing in league 1 10 years ago, the standard of league 2/conference has greatly increased.
