I just noticed, (while using a stupid ticket manager we have at work, i needed to login on my account and someone elses and it only works in IE) that IE actually has a "New Session" option to open a new window. (Going back to neil's thing about the server might work and broswers increasing chances rather than windows and tabs.)

So you could open multiple sessions in IE at least. I wonder how other browsers do thiis *goes off to investigate*

Is it really actually a new session in how the browser is communicating with a server, or is just meaning that it's a new session - instance - of IE that will still share server sessions?

There's a risk here of a mix of use of the word 'session', between the techies who do the technical stuff, and those who write the interface in a way for users to be able to understand.

Then again, you might be right.

WARNING! WARNING! STUPID QUESTION COMING UP!

What personal details will I need to get a ticket? Or will I just need to put in my registration number? Cus I'm gonna prepare it all the night before so I know I'm all organized and ready to go and I can boot up the old mac at 8:00 and not have to rush around in a frantic mess when I get on and realise I have to fill in loads of stuff and it might crash...

I am thinking of going in to work and using the computer there this time. Is this likely to make any difference at all as last year I could not get through on my home computer and one person who had a high speed internet at home had to buy about 10 tickets..

I'm just glad our first year of trying to get tickets was such a breeze. By the time I'd made a coffee and had a cigarette my girlfriend had booked tickets. All done and dusted by 8.59 am. I'm certain we'll never have that luck again so here's hoping by hook or by crook we get a ticket because I dread missing out.
