Is there anyone else like me who's really looking forward to T-day? The suspense, work and elation is sometimes like a day of the festival itself. Managed to nail 21 tickets last year so hoping for a similar result.

I am looking forward to getting Ticket Day over and done with so we can hopefully look forward to next year secure in the knowledge that we have a ticket.

The buzz is great with the confidence that you will get a ticket.

After last year I will no longer take getting a ticket for granted.

How did people use the forums last year to improve their chances? I struggled to get on here in 2011 as the site seemed nearly as busy as Seetickets.

I change from optimism to pessimism from one hour to the next.

As I've posted before, we failed completely to even get through on T day last year, but got our tickets in the last few minutes of the last resale. Gulp.

I have yet to hear of anyone who got tickets by 'phone on T day, and we will probably just concentrate our efforts on the computers. F5 will be my new best friend.

I keep having minor heart palpitations when I think of T Day. It's no good for my nerves at all.

I'm getting my head round the fact that ticket day is likely to be an irrelevance to me this year...since we're going to have a four month old baby in June, it looks like I'll be missing my first Pilton in 25 years

Page not found at present and i've got further paranoia building that the whole thing could change this year after a 2 year hiatus to consider and develop a new booking process....

Yup... about £200 per ticket... something like a £5 p&p and £5 booking fee per ticket too... and £15 for the car park.

Still represents good value of course, especially if you turn up Tuesday night at the carpark and leave on Monday!

Yhhh thats what we did in 2011. was wondering if anyone had any solid info but never mind.

We got into the car park at just gone 4am weds, got the camping chairs out and cracked open a beer! Sorted!

That's my thinking, here's hoping the weather puts people off and some just forget..a lot of people wh havent been before might not know about ticket day might not think about it

I'm really not sure I expect there will be enouh demand to shift all tickets - but will there be as much extra demand as normal?

no glasto 2012 so it hasnt been on tv/friends havent talked about it..so a lot of newbies might not even think about it..till its too late when they hear it sold out etc

and weather will put *some * off

as will the increased cost..some wont be able to justify 200+

met some girl who plans to go..hopefully she can try and get my ticket and vice versa..else it#ll just be me on my own trying

I really hope you are right about there being less demand. Time will tell.

It'd be good if that girl can also try for tickets for you and visa versa as it'll increase your chances of getting a hold of one of them much sought after tickets. I've got a list of people as long as your arm to get tickets for if I get through (and if the backspace works again this year). On saying that it's a mate in London who has always got through for the last few years. I'm really hoping he'll pull it off again.

I wonder if it's worth using 3g mobile interet and normal home adsl/cable?

I guess there#s a chance if you using say 3 pcs on same home roadband it may not make any difference as it's all from same IP and the server could be setup to knock back too many connection attempts per ip?

could setup a laptop or something using 3g internet from a phone.. separate ip etc
