Are you insane? Get registered no matter how difficult you find it.

All you have to do is fill in a simple form on line and attach a passport type photo to the online application form. Admittedly this later part had me stumped as I don't know how to download photos etc. So I simply asked someone to do it for me who knew how to do it. I beseech you with all that is good and holy in the world to get your arse in gear and get registered! Otherwise you aint coming to the party.

Crap registration edit / update system means that I cannot change any details if my old email address has expired! My old email address has disappeared (along with the ISP that used to run it). However, any changes that I make result in a confirmation email being sent to the expired address, meaning that I cannot confirm the changes, so they are never made.

Says I have to re-register . . . <_<

Yeah, I reckon you might be right about that as it seems they have (re)hosted all the reg tracker stuff on this host now and made it look like TOS. This is probably a dedicated load balanced cluster hostname, for all their kit that they apparently hire especially for each Glasto ticket scrum (probably from some cloud provider now).

they haven't "made it look like TOS", it is TOS.

The domain is directing to there at the moment, in one way or another.

I'd be surprised if https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/ is being actually hosted by TOS servers as it uses the "seetickets.com" Domain which See are authoritative for. "glastonburyfestivals.co.uk" also uses a different public IP subnet than the "glastonbury.seetickets.com" host. Also the SSL Certificate being used is registered to See.

Happy to be disproved though - all speculation really - I have no real idea how they run their shops other than through what is visible on the Internet.

You've got a bit carried away, without checking the basics.

I said a redirection of some sort - without having checked anything at that point - and now I have, that's defo right.

If you ping www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk it gives you the IP address it's hosted on. If you ping glastonbury.seetickets.com it gives you the different IP address for that domain's server.

And yet if you access glastonbury.seetickets.com, you get re-directed to (the real) www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk

So there's either a simple redirect page on glastonbury.seetickets.com, or (more likely) the domain configuration on that server for glastonbury.seetickets.com does a simple redirect to www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk (just as I do on my servers with some of my domains).

The advantage of this set-up (rather than using DNS to sernd the request to the relevant server) is that when you want to use the glastonbury.seetickets.com sub-domain, it's a simple case of changing the domain set-up on that server and it's instantly active (rather than having to wait for the DNS to propagate, which can take up-to 48 hours for all users).

Funnily enough, I've do9ne something very much like that today with the new beefy server I've just put in and you're using now to read this post. :)
