I've bought a combi ticket, XL camping and booked a hostel for 3 days after the festival to see what Leuven is like.

Last year I used 120 ...and yes, I like beer

120 is *only* 60 beers, over 4 days. 15 a day

only1 and a bit an hour

burger and chips was/is around 3 tokens

tbh in the morning I hit the supermarket, got some food to make breakfast and some beers to take back the campsite, and lunch/or dinner id go on the strip just outside the festival grounds, slightly cheaper prices for food and drink, cash only

so is the tokens only for in the arena ?

yep inside its all standard outlets run by the festival that use tokens, outside is space the festival let out to people/businesses so each one tends to a be family run thing so cash

How expensive is the supermarket at Werchter? UK corner-shop prices? Is the supermarket cash or coupon?

Oh and how much would it be for a meal on the strip outside the site?

well theres an offical supermarket by the campsite which is expensive but we walked to 20 odd mins to the village/town along which is comparable to our supermarket prices

Im not sure about Werchter, because we go in the other direction as thats the side we camp. but its literally a straight road that you stay on and thats nothing on the road at all just houses, so youl know when you're there.
