Hey guys! Getting excited now with all these announcements. First time at RW this year can anyone give me any tips on stuff like bringing alcohol in - how does it work with the campsite and the arena?! Are there any unusual rules that might catch me out not just in relation to drink but with anything?! Would really appreciate any tips etc as most of you sound like veterans!! Xx

festivals really starting to come together for me now.

looks like biffy clashing with vampire weekend ...

the saturdays still pretty guff for me, hoping for a few more acts on the saturday.

All af the three worst bands I've ever seen at Rock Werchter are playing this year. 30 Secounds to Mars, Phoenix and Vampire Weekend

But who cares, I have Volbeat, Depeche Mode, Graveyard, Blur, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Editors and others

Quick question, I'm planning on purchasing my ticket at the end of the month, is this wise? I'd noticed that the Sunday day ticket has sold out. Also if it does sell out, are there any other outlets where I could pick up a ticket from as a contingency plan?

Normally, they will mention when there are only 1000 combi tickets left. Once it's sold-out, there's a waiting list. It's always usefull to put your name on that list

I'm thinking of coming to Rock Werchter now, and I'm wanting to find out the cheapest way of getting there. I'm coming from Doncaster so I'm aware it'll likely be a train journey followed by flight/ferry/Eurostar.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also I'm a little confused by the tickets. If I'm wanting to go for the weekend and camp from Wednesday to Monday do I go on combi tickets and select 4-day pass and camping XL ticket?

Ok so basically the guys I'm coming with this year are new to the festival but decided to buy tickets without me (rookie mistake).

We need XL camping tickets to fit in with our interrailing schedule, but they bought regular tickets... can they upgrade?

I seem to remember you guys saying last year that it's not possible, but thought I may as well ask
