Site Conditions?

I know that it's very, very early to start thinking about this but I'm wondering if we're heading for 2007 situation this year at Reading where the site was waterlogged and partly flooded from the start. Not heaped obviously by having the River Thames running through the middle of it.

Does anyone live nearby and have any observations on the ground condidtions currently and whether the river is flooding at the moment?

I'm working on the totally irrational theory that if it rains enough now then there will be none left by the time of the festival.

its helping get me through so dont spoil my theory by quoting meteorological science.
