How rough is creamfields?

It's my first time to Creamfields this year, and just wondering how rough it is? How good are the security there? because from reading other forums on the internet it seems as if they just turn a blind eye to fights or violent behaviour, which sounds shit.

If people left a few stories of past experiences of the festival that would be fantastic:)

I was in the same position last year but found it to enjoyable. fights were broken up quickly after security seen them. As with all festivals though u will get people starting fights/looking for a fight just for fun.

cheers man, are they harsh on i.d checking? cause me and my mates are all 17 but we reaally want to go, would they accept a good fake i.d?

Not sure about the ID checking thing but agree with 5tevieB on the trouble. In all the years i've been going i've seen all sorts of trouble but never large scale and always dealt with quickly. Never felt unsafe myself and always had an amazing time!!

I have been going the past 5 years and to be honest I can say I have maybe seen 2 or 3 scuffles but nothing more than that and this was dealt with within seconds by security.

Like Delboy71 said I too have never felt unsafe and have had a cracking time year after year and Im going back again this year. In regard to your I.D question I think they are pretty strict on I.d as to what other people I have spoken too have said. I am 25 and still take I.d with me as you may always get one steward who wants to be a t**t.

I was also asked for i.d. in the arena last year to buy cigs which I thought was a joke considering I was let into the arena oh and I was 24.lol.

I've not been since 2010, but that year I saw one fight. Like someone said above, in every walk of life when you mix in booze and perhaps illegal substances, you'll always get arseholes picking fights!
