Most on ebay have been going for £180, you'd do well to get it down to £120 on there. I guess this could change much nearer the festival, but in the two weeks since I first posted on here and started watching what tickets were going for, the prices have gone up if anything.

I was going to wait until the week of the festival to buy my ticket, but since they are confident enough to release more tickets do people think it will actually sell out?

I just bid £125 for a ticket on eBay with just over an hour left and there was only one other bid, there's also another ticket for £125 with 1 bid and 2 for £145 with no bids and only 2 hours left, does this lack of interest mean that the prices might drop further or is it normal for people not to show interest until the closing minutes?

I just saw a Leeds ticket go for £102, cheapest I've seen so far, unfortunately I've bought cheap tickets for me and everyone I know so I had to leave it.

The trick is, they'd listed it on ebay as Leeds 2012 Weekend. No mention of 'festival'! Try looking for stuff like this cos less people will find and therefore bid on it this way. I've been saving this trick til I got all mine ;) Good luck.

I hadn't really been checking for tickets on eBay this year, I just remember getting one last year in the first week of August for £130. I'm looking to get 2 this time, hopefully for the same price.

When is the usually drop in prices as tickets are still around £150-170 and I'm not paying that much.

Also do people think I'll get the tickets cheaper if I go for 2 or just get them separately?

A good tactic I used to do was buy 2 combined tickets & then sell the spare one back on ebay. 2 tickets 95% of the time will go for less (ie COST÷2) than a single ticket being sold individually. Even with ebay & PayPal fees I'd save more money than if I'd just purchased a single ticket on ebay.
