In terms of dance acts, I'd be more than happy with even just 2 of the following:

Porter Robinson (bailed last year for some reason, so gutted he never showed up, played a blinder of a set at The Arches last month)

Zedd

Wolfgang Gartner

Kaskade

Dirtyphonics

Tommy Trash

Chuckie

Kill The Noise

Dillon Francis

Diplo/Major Lazer

Jack Beats

Alesso

Steve Aoki

Nicky Romero

Feed Me

R3hab

Hardwell

Jacob Plant

Dirty South

Dada Life

Alvin Risk

Eric Prydz

Foreign Beggars

M83

Digitalism

KOAN Sound

Pretty much none of them have played Rockness before (bar a few) and would be nice to see a little variation with the undercard, lots of talented producers and DJs out there, a lot of them have very unique shows. Obviously some would be a bit pricey but there's a lot to choose from.

Porter had shows in Vegas the weekend of Rockness and was tweeting about them so no idea what happened, would have cancelled ages before I imagine but they didn't tell us. As for the Arches set- WOW. So good, would love it if he played.

Would be extremely happy if any of the other bold artists played.

pretty average selection of DJ's there for me, if thats the road Rockness goes down it will be like a shite Creamfields, and creamfields is already shite. This year if they go mad with the techno (ie Dubfire, Loco Dice, Sven Vath, Cassy, Ida Engberg, Marcel Dettman, Ben Klock, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati,) Rockness could be onto a winner.

They haven't been confirmed by Rockness, that's an educated guess as it's always the 2nd full weekend in June (well since it went to 3 days)

It's possible they will move it to the 1st weekend in June though, but I don't reckon they will.

Lots of things happen in the background with events such as licence applications, investor meetings, budget reviews, booking strategy, agents getting offers, marketing strategy, etc etc.

Just because nothing has been officially confirmed by the festival, remember it is still 7 months away and plenty festivals that occur before Rockness haven't launched yet either.

Yeah it might make sense to get the info out there asap, but in some cases it's better to work on getting everything sorted with a load of acts and then launching.
