Ive never been a fan of RHCP myself, but wouldn't normally be against seeing them, but I read (on the Leeds fest page I think) that they were really bad when they last played and got a bit of a slagging off the organisers. they certainly wouldn't get me excited about seeing them.

I still think that the remaining headliner has to be someone of a significant size to shift some tickets

I was at beni last year but never camped, so was really just wondering about camping for this year cause I'm fucking skint and fancy going for it this time. Would I be better getting a smallish tent for one, or a pretty big tent for 2 etc...?

Hopefully some more acts get announced soon. I'm hoping for The Strokes for the final headliner! and Foals, Peace and The 1975.... :)

Anyone who went last year can you tell me what the tents are like at Beni, and is it worth buying one of the ones they have there ready or are they too small and do they pick where you camp?

also what is the best thing to take luggage in? big bag and then attact tent etc?

Yeah, but not sure that they really promoted them very well as an option. I was barely aware that they had started doing the rent-a-tent thing until I saw them at the campsite.

On the subject of tents, if you are taking one with you then make sure you Love Your Tent by taking it home with you. It's a real shame seeing the amount of tents that get left behind every year, and the costs of getting rid of all of them just mean less money can get spent of good stuff - like bands.

Following on from the T in Park point - would love Tribes and Frightened Rabbit to be at Beni this year.

Frank Turner would be a good shout too.

Not overly impressed with headliners so far, so could make up with some really great others that are out and about. Last year Horrors, Vaccines, Little Dragon, Maccabees, Bombay BC, TEED, Django Django were all fantastic to name a few. And where are the dance acts this year?

Me and my friends are really considering doing the rent a tent thing cause we're leaving pretty early on the Monday and don't want to have to pack up a tent.. But we're nervous about where this tent that they're going to set up for us will be! Like do the rent a tents have their own campsite or are they mixed in with the other big two? If they do have their own campsite is it still a good atmosphere? I've heard the campsites is one of the best bits of beni and I'd hate to miss out on that if we did do rent a tent.. Also where are they likely to be set up? Close to the stage or beach? .. I've read some stuff about last year the rent a tents were like dead and barely anyone there but that that was just because they didn't publicise them great so I don't know of it'll be better this year.. Anyone else thinking of doing rent a tent or know anything about them?

Hi I did rent a tent last year and have just booked again for this year, although the tents are at the main campsite they are in their own separate area which is great they weren't sold out last year but the atmosphere was still great. Tents are big enough for 3 but think it would be a squeeze for 4 and your stuff as well, double ended openings with fly screens which was great for getting the little bit of breeze there is cooling you down. Well shaded and spaced out so unlike the main camping your not crawling over each other by the thursday when it fills up. Well worth 62 euros and its all done for you so once you have your wrist band there's no messing about
