the tiny baby screen that The Park has is not really helpful. On West Holts you have them on each side, small as they may be, but larger than The Park. Kraftwerk is pretty visual so you need that element. And we dont know if its a 3D show either.
Whether you like KOL or not it's huge step forward for the festival, obviously getting a non-uk act but more importantly an act that is still big enough to headline BST. As much as we talk about Mumford & Biffy being big acts in recent years neither of them are currently considered BST size.
Obviosuly, if you don't like Kings of Leon the fact they are a big signing is pretty meaningless and not going to tempt you to buy a ticket. However, it does look like they are aiming higher and trying to grow the festival and in the future they may have a bigger pool then the smaller Superstruct festivals.
Yeh I saw that his first round of treatment failed and that he's back in Canada for round 2. Should only be a few months though, all being well. 🤞
Not paid for, but he does have a hell of a lot of love from the reaction community / creators, and it certainly doesn't hurt that REN has been one of the few artists to support, encourage and embrace their work instead of fighting them. 😉
Doesn't take anything away from his talent though.
Me too, he hasn't revealed how long this round of treatment will take, afaik. But if I remember correctly, he originally said the first round was planned to be 3 to 4 months, extended after complications, I think. Hopefully this one goes smoothly. 🙂
He's gagging to perform live again, if his updates are anything to go by, so I hope he gets to do that on the biggest stage soon.
