slight change in NME headers (just thinking what they would be better against imo)

The Killers

Mumford

The Prodigy

Lady GaGa

Paulo Nutini

The Black Keys

Green Day

Biffy Clyro

The Chemical Brothers

Your right on the Green Day set length, they got atleast 2 hours the last time they played (it was definately still sunny when they started) pretty sure they wanted Travis on before them as well, or so the papers went (were big fans of them aparently) so they might be 4th/5th down that day

Billy Talent are good. Plan B has talent but isn't my bag. The rest are blow goats. if T book all of them not only would I not go I would also sell up and move to Wrexham or somewhere equally depressing, such is the shame of what our once great festival has become. :)

It very well could possibly be that mate and Yes Travis is a good possibility I guess further down that day. I'd say 4th is probable as it'll feature at least one less band so they could play in a 4th where maybe another day it might be 5th, either way it's cool.

But I'd see all the headers on main and subs except for Nutini I think. You reckon QOTSA have got a good chance of being under The Prodigy or The Chem Bro's. I think T tends to have a different style sub NME to headline NME.

Dizzee 3rd under Paulo maybe?

Bloc Party 3rd under Mumford? and Edit

Love to see Billy Talent back too and with a new album I reckon chances are quite high.

Could also see Plan B back, Vampire Weekend getting a high spot. The View back. If they get the right mix could be a really good lineup.

Pulp co-headlined with Foos? I find that hard to believe, is that official or just something someone said to make it sound more important (a lot of the press seem to use "a headline performance" very liberally nowadays). Certainly don't recall the Foos being tagged as co-headliners.

He think he meant they co-headline with Foos at IOW.

At the time I remember them being tagged as co-headliners as it was causing loads of arguements in the R&L section but it one of those things where they throw that label out to applease the acts.

Sounds fishy to me, they definitely co-headlined R&L but then that's easy to identify at a multi-site festival as they swapped round with The Strokes. Not really sure about IOW, like you say it's something that gets thrown around to appease artists or make the occasion sound bigger. Co-headlining at single events seems pointless because at the end of the day only one of them can top the bill no matter what you call it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the word "headline" was used around Pulp without actually confirming them as headliners just to suggest something special, while the word "co-headline" was probably never used anywhere near the Foos.
