T in the Park 2013

The stage splits were REALLY late last year though. We actually ended up with the "fake" times on here before T released the splits. I think people just like to know who's likely to clash so you can decide who you're going to see beforehand. Some of the comments were OTT though.

I think it's fair enough to expect day splits before buying a ticket though. Even if its just for the big acts. But then again they would have sold a lot more weekend tickets had no one known the Stone Roses were playing Saturday. I don't know if there's an act with that much pulling power this year. Except maybe Kraftwerk.

i changed my tactics last year (second year)

i saw probably close to 35-ish acts. however i didnt see full sets on a few, and went to bands just for the sake of it (see mcfly and simple minds)

i still see it as huge value for money. i just hate this thing he does were he talks about it being a pound a band.

I agree any festival is value for money. But a lot of people I spoke to said that they made their money back (Saturday day ticket) on seeing Noel & The Roses alone, forgetting that the Roses had 4 support acts & Noel had Rev & the makers. Yeah you have more options over what acts you see at a stand alone gig, but I think a lot of people forget these things when comparing gig & festival ticket prices.

This would be funny if you weren't mentally ill. Gazza is a workmate, gazza is a family member, gazza is a family friend, I don't know gazza, we use the same computer but I didn't know he had an account. Lying bastard. Go away. Anyone managed a killfile for here yet?

In other news where the hell did you get the info that there were bands playing thursday night? That has never been the case.

Considering T sells Day tickets, its fair enough people want to know the undercard for their day...

Even if you've got a weekend ticket, there might be say 15 acts you really to see but most end up being on the sunday and clashing...

With festivals like T where its basically a gig in a field, there is need to know your not going be bored for the majority of the weekend (and no to campsite "banter" in a field for 200 quid doesn't count..)
