I think this thread is definitely missing a discussion as to whether rock still has a place at T and what the likely effects will be of it not being as well represented as in previous years.

Well going back to 2006 Kasabian were announced as one of the headliners with 24hrs before the gates opened. Any things possible. Think there might be an announcement on fri morning to boost ticket sales.

It was down as a Special Guest and they were announced the day before/on the day. They headlined the Pet Sounds tent, definitely wasn't Tuts. It was CLASS.

Only want to see Kraftwerk. Wikipedia has them playing on Friday but that's Wikipedia.

Don't know if she actually knows that they are headlining or has just assumed due to their placing on the poster (which now has Laurent Garnier on equal footing too).

She works for The Arches in Glasgow where Pressure is hosted every month, and Pressure book some of the Slam tent lineup so it may be true.

I know a lot of people have posted about wanting Queens of the Stone Age, but it would really sum up the current state of TITP if they weren't booked.

As far as I know there's no barrier stopping them playing and there's no reason why they shouldn't be on that lineup. This year could be the final straw for me.

i doubt any of them will sell many. Tribes were the main band that interested me there.

I like a lot of the smaller Indie style bands around at the min so i guess that help with the T lineup. Bored of the rest.
