Good point. Not sure what happened to Connect. Went the year that Primal Scream headlined. Brilliant setting with the castle, loch etc. I remember it being a bit of a mud fest by the Sunday but it is Scotland. We always go to Wickerman and would recommend it. Does anyone have any suggestions for a hotel or b&b thats within a 10/15 minute taxi ride from T ? Got tickets for Sunday ( might also be able to make Saturday ) and were way too old for T camping. I`m assuming there will be a taxi rank at the gates ?

Taxis are allowed to use different routes that the shuttle buses use, mates get a taxi back to Glenrothes every year at the end of the night and are home 30 minutes after the last act on main stage.

They tend to keep the car park traffic seperate as you say that's a nightmare once stuck in it.

Appreciate the comments folks. Went to Leeds a few years back and a mate who lives down that way told us there would be no hassle getting a taxi straight after it. He was right. Big q but really well organised and it only took 10 minutes. Sounds like T have a similar set up.

I`ll have a hunt about for a B&B on the off chance. Have slept in the car before on the last night of festivals but had heard that they try and stop that at T.

We camp at tangerine fields. I guarantee you I am old, far too old to bother with building tents, the mud was not too bad last year either. It didn't cut up too bad.I think at this late stage you will struggle to get a room at this stage. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong though.

I think it was proved that the admin here hate Scotland and therefore wanted to punish T-goers by reducing their sub forum to a single thread.

and it was proven beyond doubt that the scottish people who run t in the park hate scotland far far more, because they removed their own T forum about ten years before efestivals (and didn't even allow a single thread as is allowed here).

After being on holiday while this announcement was made I have to say I am pleasantly surprised.

After the headliners and a few bigger names already being announced it was all going to be down to the lower down acts and I think they have done really well, sure its not the greatest lineup T has ever seen but from what it could have been I am happy and with the lack of huge names I really want to see it means I get a chance to see acts which I might not have done before
