thetime
I've always said the donation of my right plum was only for the appearance of the beastie boys, I now add David Bowie to the list........I do know he won't be playing as T would've followed the same route as last year and the only announcement would've been Aladdin Sane.......I thought this would be my last T adventure however if DB or the beasties were playing next year I reserve the right to party once more.... devilman
I'll get slated for this .. but fuck it. But what do people think the chances are of a surprise Bowie appearance at T ? Just listened to the album and It sounds brilliant and would sound extraordinary live. He's obviously in good condition, he IS going to pop up somewhere to do something, even if it will be just a random TV appearance or something. I don't know, he owes T in the park an appearance, he already surprised everyone with a new album out of the blue in the first place and with it being the 20th year. Wishful thinking I know ... a_n_other
Are the beastie boys still playing on without yauch? Only saw them once at connect 2007 and they were amazing Edited March 2, 2013 by a_n_other
devilman
Interesting to see that the shamelessly pish pop festival V has sold out already yet T is struggling. Similar line up with T being the better in theory. Do you think this may be to do with teh T regulars staying away and there being no real interest in the karaoke and spacebar pressing acts that have replaced the decent bands of yesteryear? Discuss. Gingo
I've been checking a lot of the lower level out and found a few gems, this puppy is quite happy with the low to middle order. I don't think we could've expected much better. It is purely the headliners that has pissed this puppy off
harryomatic
I still think we've got an NME headliner to come. I don't think there'll be many - if any - big names after that. The Tuts headliners will be plucked out of names already there in my opinion. Kraftwerk, Two Door Cinema Club and someone else.

a_n_other
Totally agree, only headline act that I would want to see are the Killers even though I've seen them before, the 'undercard' is one of the best for a few years imo not maybe for acts that I would give anything to see but for quality acts that have not established themselves as of yet and would put on a great show

JamesT977
Not yet, that's why I felt it was safe to offer my right plum to see them. Never seen them so proper jealous.... They were always on my to see list but I thought, I'll see them next time they come....I weep for my stupidness. I did the same with bill hicks, almost bought tickets to see him play, thought nah ill catch him next time I need a new tattoo, he died and that tattoo has long since been covered up hahahah
