They wernt half getting promoted by Gigs in Scotland for their shows today, wouldnt rule them out

Indeed, were 3rd from top last time (albeit after what you could consider two back to back headliners in Beyonce and Coldplay) wouldnt be suprised to see them take a similar spot

I'm happy with this tbh, if we still had the forum we would have five seperate threads asking for bloody gangnam style Pretty much quiet season as far as fests go really, you can probably tell who has a chance of getting booked will tours being announced and albums out though.

My theory about curveball bookings like Mastadon at TITP and Wiley at R&L is the act just offers themselves to fests for cheap since they can fill up their tour dates for convenience & get some exposure from a different audience but Sigur Ros don't seem like the kind of act to do that.

There is something about them that makes me think they need to finish before another band comes on, I think sub spot is just right for them.

For me that would represent a decent compromise between pop and credible headliners, keeps the dance and indie heads happy and is 'current'. Hopefully this happens.
