T in the Park 2013

Yea last year i got a cracking tan with sitting about on the thursday and for the most part on friday then of course it rained from about 10 that night till about 2 sunday afternoon

For me it is constantly watching every stv weather report as well as the T weather thing they do on their site

The weather apps totally screwed me in 2011, said it was going to be torrential rain friday and sat and great sunday, where of course it was the opposite way around but after the fantastic sunshine upto the sunday I got complacent on the sunday and didnt wear a jacket

What's the best way to get there from Glasgow/Edinburgh train station? I've got Thursday camping so anyone have some suggestions? Cheers

Glasgow - Go to Buchannan Street Bus Station and get one of the official shuttle buses direct to the site.

Edinburgh - Same idea, but go to St Andrews Bus Station.

These can be pre-booked, not sure of price but you can book it for a return on the Monday too. These will drop you off at the designated Bus Station on site.

Has there ever been a T with a heatwave or sunny all weekend?

Last year was my first festival and the thursday was beast. I was mainly worried that it would rain on thursday meaning id have to put my tent up in the rain. Then Friday night and all of Saturday it rained.

99 was a cracking year the weather was that warm i ended up with blisters on my back , 2005 was a cracking year again in fact so was 2002, we have had some great weather at T lets just hope our luck is in this year

was looking at feststaff, it seems you do two 8 hour shifts between the wednesday before and the monday after, then the rest of the time you have off...

2005 was a ridiculously hot year, I think I ended up getting a dose of sun stroke on the Saturday and could barely move on the sunday, good lineup though. I think alot of people got caught out in 2011 when it rained all week, only for it to be cracking friday (the sun came out for Tom Jones I reckon)
