Is there any reason as to why Vampire Weekend haven't been announced for any UK festivals yet?

Are they too big to be added to T as it's just drips and drabs now?

it's all off of facebook mate, some don't have anything yet and the odd one have thursday listed like rita ora for eg, but all of these have actual day of the 3 listed. I remember someone saying Beady would play opposite Rihanna (never was going to happen).

Calvin Harris can't play Saturday and Guetta has two dates at Twickenham supporting Rihanna Mon and Tues after, he has one set of earlier dates where he does play 3 dates running, I'd have said myself that he'd be NME Friday but as his kit will presumably travel with Rihanna's?, if that's how it works, I see them clashing them both on Sat. On a realistic view, they've sold out Rihanna's day and quick, regardless of who is opposite or who's where that day.

I'm just presuming we have another NME header to be announced?

I remember the first one being quite sparse, which suprised me with bjork/beastie boys/primal scream headlining. Its been the only fest ive been robbed at(bout 50 fests) but still was one of my faves.

Weather was filthy though.

I suppose if they announce Pink Floyd with special guest David Bowie and a secret set by the late Jimmi Hendrix then the festival could be saved. On the plvs side Chvrches are maybe the 2nd band in the line up I'd be excited about seeing.

Got an e-mail from Ticketmaster - T are now selling VIP upgrades for only £99.00 (plus fees) you can have access to!:

• A chilled out area where you can relax with friends and take time out

• An exclusive cash bar and gourmet food area

• Relaxing indoor and outdoor seating areas

• Late night entertainment with DJs on Friday and Saturday until 2:00 and Sunday night until 1:00.

• Flushing toilets with sinks and mirrors.

Don't all rush at once now

£60 for a VIP upgrade on the Saturday or Sunday. £45 on the Friday.
