Gparsfan
Gparsfan - Also thought T 2011 was excellent. Slash /Weezer/ Mona/MCR/ All Time Low/Foo Fighters. Thats why last year was disappointing and I thought it was amaybe a one off, but the pop route seems to be the way forward for Geoff. Just not for me after this one. Pokeybumwanker
2011 was great, Slash and Foo Fighters were tremendous, MCR were shit though.

frankblack
I was the same, thought cause Slash would be promoting his 1st album at the time he would play Glasgow but no he has played Edinburgh twice and OCS have played Glasgow about 6 times since, one positive regret of TITP, the others have all been regrets of seeing shit bands
a_n_other
Think yourself lucky - usually bands keep playing Glasgow. I notice Gaslight Anthem are struggling to sell out two nights having played at the same venue there last year. Anyway, why wouldn't you go to Edinburgh for a gig if its someone you want to see? Most of the venues are close to the train stations or in the case of the Corn Exchange a short bus.

mrtourette
The answer is neither, why is why I said no (as in it doesn't make them any more likely or any less likely). They're already around over that period as they're doing Glasto at the end of June and are then are in Ireland the week after T so being announced for Optimus doesn't suddenly make them any more available or likely than they already were (which isn't very anyway). Gingo
Shame on you. I've seen him 3 times now, once at T and twice at DL. He and Myles are outfuckingstanding. I was really impressed with the reception and singalong he got at T. Much less impressed with trying not to kill little girls by crushing them as they kept getting under my feet. They were trying to hog barrier space for Beyonce y'see and 17.5 stone of going mental was a bit much for them. Why the fuck T insists on putting such different genres back to back is beyond me. Mind you, it's not a problem any more is it with everything being bland poperama
