I really don't get the Alt-J hype. Can't get into their album at all. Couple of good additions there though. Travis will go down well I suspect, and Johnny Marr is just brilliant.

It's actually turning into a half decent lineup. Another biggish band to headline NME (such as Bloc Party although it seems they've been ruled out) and I could be tempted to get a ticket closer to the time. Certainly one of the better undercards this year. Just a shame about the poor headliners.

But this is T in the Park, the festival which had The Strokes SUBBING the second stage to Swedish House Mafia the same year The Strokes headlined R&L. It's a completely different clientele these days.

Travis and Johnny Marr added are great additions to return back to. Johnny Marr was so good at Coachella

Day splits are making this a little more tempting.

Got 5/6 bands on each day that I'd go to see.

Still not quite there yet, though - need a couple more to be added (perhaps BRMC and QOTSA and I'll be there)

What's the script with QOTSA? I've not really looked in to it. Are they playing elsewhere around TITP making them more/less likely?

If they are not playing because TITP didn't try to book them then I have lost all faith in the festival.

QOTSA are free and will have a new album to promote also they would fit perfectly into the vacant radio 1 headliner slot on the Saturday, however I'm still pretty sure that Ellis said during a Q&A that all the radio 1 stage headers were going to be DJs

yup, I'd say The Script are the big enough font for sub, neither C&S and the Sterophonics have a bigger font but there does still seem to be a tut's header to add at least. I don't see Snoop Dog closing Radio 1 Stage, Beady Eye could but I think main stage

Yeah maybe the Script subbing actually looking at it again but that still leaves a radio 1 headliner and 2 tuts headliners so im getting my hopes up for them

it looks to me like even the Stereophonics are a smaller font than Chase and status? Snoop dogg i see on main stage about 4th down, maybe billed slightly higher on the poster due to name.

I definitely think stereophonics will be subbing they still have massive appeal especially in scotland with an extra date added to their tour at the hydro

you're probably right, as long as yyy's finish in time for the killers i'm cool. i have loads i can see at T.

we need a little clash finder of suspected maybe places.

so far i have, mumford, c&s, emeli sande, jake bugg, of monsters and men, kendrick lamar, everything everything, imagine dragons, tribes

rihanna, snoop dogg, the lumineers, frightened rabbit, twin atlantic, travis, the view, modest mouse, villagers, kodaline, swim deep, theme park

the killers, yyy's, editors, ocean colour scene, bastille, johnny marr, chvrches

Thats a fair amount for the friday. i'd be surprised if you fit them all in. I always over estimate how many bands i can see.

With regards to the stereophonics chat, I'm fairly certain they will be subbing the Killers. A lot of folk who are wanting to see The killers will no doubt like the stereos too.

Looking at the day splits and positions is there any chance that Beady Eye will be headlining NME? I only ask because if they are the headliner i will be very very very disappointed ....and may be forced to watch Rihanna.

i'd have also thought, purely for the reason of what T tries to do and the fact the killers and stereophonics crowd will be similar would be enough for another slot in band.

in looks like we're looking for 3 bigger font satuday acts but then that'd mean bigger font sunday acts and I can't think guetta is going anywhere but radio 1 dance header unless he does end up on mainstage
