At the end of the day, isn't Live Nation behind all these bigger festivals bar Glasto? I think T is far enough away geographically from the others to be a massive competitor. Most people who go to T live in the surrounding cities and towns and won't commute to those others.

T shared hardly anyone with Soni. Much to my disgust. But then again maybe it was the right thing for T seeing as Soni fell on its arse. Pairing up with Oxegen was about the best possible scenario for T given the locations and similarity of Irish and Scottish crowds. I can't see that there is another fest on its own needing a buddy. So T will fail to get big acts as it is doing now, but they are failing to provide value for the high price.

T goers are paying Alton Towers prices for the council funfair just now. Those with their heads in the sand are saying that the waltzers are great etc etc etc

Is Frank Ocean currently only announced for TITP in the UK ?

I know he is playing Wireless, but that isn't really a festival as such.

He's the main reason I'm happy with this years T line up, phenomenal talent.

He is my second favorite artist in the world right now, so I'm ecstatic about seeing him at T, especially as he has never done a UK date outside London.

After hours entertainment is overall quite poor but the Sunset Strip which was introduced last year, is an ok attempt at giving people something to do

Really looking forward to lower than atlantis, phonics, kraftwerks 3d show, travis, proclaimers, the ruen brothers (if u get a chance to see them they r awesome), ocean color scene and snoop dogg if he plays mostly hits )

I'm really looking forward to Miles Kane, twin Atlantic, stereophonics and foals. Hopefully the final radio 1 headliner will be someone good too

Surprised that people are still hoping for another announcement. Hope I'm wrong but just can't see it happening.

TITP organisers would be even more stupid than I thought if they waited for everyone without a ticket to make alternative plans and then announce a "big draw" act..
