If ticket sales are as slow as everyone seems to think, there's probably not enough cash to sign up a decent name to headline the NME. Seems we're stuck with Beady Eye as top dogs, which is pretty sad

T in the Park commented this on one of their Facebook posts:

"Hi Christopher Allison - We ask our fans to fill in a survey each year and vote for who they want to see at T in the Park. We are a multi-genre festival and book as diverse a line up as possible because we have 85,000 people who have different tastes, that's why right across the bill there’s a mix of rock, dance, pop, indie, urban and rap. If Rihanna isn't for you, you can see Beady Eye, alt-J and My Bloody Valentine at the same time."

Which basically confirms That Beady Eye will be Radio 1 headliners, Alt-J as King Tuts headliners and My Bloody Valentine as Transmissions headliners.

Kind of wish I was going now. Kraftwerk and My Bloody Valentine are the two acts I want to see this Summer who I'm not seeing. That'd be an awesome two nights.

The biggest comfort anyone still wanting to go now is that'll be easier to find a cheaper ticket.

Had a wee look at the facebook page earlier, its like the Monday after on there, people arguing with each other, T trying to defend themselves, even got Geoff on there

Just do what I do - frantically enter comps to win tickets and when/if you do sell your one for a loss (say £125) and you're only paying £75 for the weekend.

Worked for me last year - only cus I had a Saturday day ticket so got it shifted quickly.

There will be an influx of competitions if there are lots of tickets remaining.

I have now acknowledged there will be no other big acts announced but I still reckon there is about 30 more acts to be announced compared to last year, unfortunately we know now they will all be up and coming acts or relatively small :(

It all looks like its going to be downsized this year to ensure it magically sells out. Alt J as headliners of Tuts is pretty embarrassing. You would think there would be a band of at least Academy-Arena size at that position.

Got emails on two different accounts yesterday from T trying to sell camping and VIP tickets. I've never seen that happen this close to the festival before.

Anyone think they will start discounting ticket prices to shift more tickets?
