thewayiam
Just a wee heads up if anybody is thinking of starting the shopping this week ProAction 90 litre (+10) rucksack is currently half price in argos (£21.49) It's the rucksack i've used for the past 6 years and holds everything I need http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3400140.htm Also, Tesco (Wishaw) had 4 man Lunar tents selling for £27. Not sure if nationwide or not. edit: Not available online so I presume it's just stores selling overstock of them. http://www.tesco.com/direct/gelert-lunar-4-man-family-tent/215-8606.prd
thewayiam
don't suppose someone who is hip on all this clashfinder stuff could draw a potential one up for TITP? I'm interested to know where people could fit. For R&L I'm usually okay with it as after the main, it's all tent acts but TITP have an outdoor bigger one meaning I wouldn't really know majorly if you're looking at Radio 1 or Tut's for many. Foy Vance, Jack Savoretti and Willy Mason on the Saturday at T is great.
Gingo
I got my stuff for Download last week and i'll probably get the same stuff for TITP, Tescos 65l rucksack £20, Tescos 3 man tent £18, £10 sleeping bag and £6 camping chair, got all the same stuff especially tent for the last 3 years and they have never let me down Clashfinders for TITP are hard to come by because they release the stage splits so late

Matt42
Biffy, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon for next year. Edited June 2, 2013 by Matt42
frankblack
Sorry to backtrack but swap Arctic Monkeys with Arcade Fire, and I bet you're spot on.
thewayiam
I'm not convinced we will see bands like Arcade Fire booked if Reading and Leeds bid for them (which is a no brainer). They can get two pay days there and only one at T since its not partnered with Oxygen anymore. T needs to partner up with another festival in the UK or Ireland for next year or I fear its going to be more of the same as this year and last. Chiefski
I'm going to bring this argument back up... QOTSA should have been there this year, or they should be atleast headlining the second stage next year, ...like clockwork is superb. Chiefski
Agreed. Bought the CD yesterday and I'm half-way through listening to it now. Its excellent. I'm raging they are playing ITunes festival and a bloody store gig in London yet we have no dates up here. Maybe they will be at the Edge Festival. I got emails from Edge Festival 11 advertising T in the Park tickets yesterday in addition to Gigs In Scotland. LOL. frankblack
As an album by itself it flows so well, as for individual songs I'm tempted to put 'I appear missing' up there with the best tracks Josh Homme has ever done. I reckon they will do a tour around November, though I can see them moving to bigger venues. If they had been playing Leeds/Reading this year maybe would have considered them for the fringe. Got that email too, was at first exciting we were getting some Edinburgh gig announcements, such is the state of things, lol
