T in the Park 2013

Can't believe I just got an email asking me to pick my headliners for 2014.

This some sort of sick joke?

I can't see Oasis getting back together in the next year or so. I'd imagine it'll happen eventually but not as soon as this. Would think they would be a good bet for a TITP headliner slot though. And it would be a big booking. Probably not the biggest as someone else suggested, but a damn sight better than bloody Mumford and Sons!

I voted for Green Day, Arcade Fire and Arctic Monkeys as my 3 headliners for 2014!

But times must be desperate if they are asking that at this stage of the game, to me it looks as if they're concentrating on making next year a success as they're realised they can't do anything this late in the game for this year!

I got a similar thing for V asking for my 3 headliners, but V oly has 2 do I dont know why they asked for 3

That really is an act of desperation from the T camp. It's practicaly admitting defeat my votes were for:

1 - David Bowie

2 - Daft Punk

3 - Rolling Stones.

That would be one hell of a weekend - I know they'll say KOL, Kasabian and Snow Patrol topped the poll though.

I'm happy either way - my sister gets married T weekend next year and I'm only allowed to go if Bowie plays.

Am surprised to see him back on the list - he was absent for this years survey (I put him in other though). Fingers crossed he has something in the works.

Has anyone stayed at the Travelodge in Kinross? - Just wondering if it's easy (ie Traffic wise) to get to the festival on the Friday morning as staying there just for Thursday night, and if it is going to be a nightmare what sort of time should we set off?

Also does anyone know if it's tricky to get into Kinross from there (for a couple of pints on Thurs evening) - it seems like its on a motorway so probably can't walk it!
