Shootenanny!
I made up my three Top 3's, don't think any of them will headline next year. The Libertines David Bowie Paul McCartney U2 Green Day Bruce Springsteen Blur Radiohead The Stone Roses Any of those combinations would be massive and fantastic. The only one who look remotely possible are Blur and even at that they'd probably be partnered by two obvious/repetitive bookings such as Biffy Clyro and Kings of Leon. blue6field
I definitely think Geoff will enquire about Bowie, intact I think he probably already has, but he'll get knocked back for sure!
stu150
Supposedly he enquired as soon he heard about the new album in January this year. I seem to remember him saying in an intervew that he went for a beer with his agent to discuss getting him added for this year and was told no live shows. To be honest Geoff is a Bowie fan so is the guy from Tennent's (who's name escapes me) and they also know Bowie sells. I think it's guarenteed that they will approach him about playing but chances are he won't. They do always call him "the one that got away" The only way I could see Bowie doing it is if he does more shows next year and he feels as if he should play T as he pulled out last time. Best thing for Bowie would be to do his own outdoor shows or stadium gigs though.

frankblack
I went for Bowie, Arcade Fire, and Bruce Springsteen. However, I think The Boss will probably have completed his tour cycle for his current album by the end of this year so wouldn't be available. If Bowie plays anywhere next year it will likely be Wembley.
stu150
I seem to remember Adele saying she won't play festivals - I don't think she particularly likes big crowds. Has she even ever played a solo show at an arena?

Shootenanny!
In past years I've felt reasonably safe that even if we continued to get boring bookings they would continue to be decent bands e.g. Kasabian or The Killers but with Rihanna headlining this year I'm dreading what they could put up next. Anyway never mind next year still got this year! I'm still hopeful there will be a secret act announced!

Comfy Bean
Has anyone stayed at the Travelodge in Kinross? - Just wondering if it's easy (ie Traffic wise) to get to the festival on the Friday morning as staying there just for Thursday night, and if it is going to be a nightmare what sort of time should we set off? Also does anyone know if it's tricky to get into Kinross from there (for a couple of pints on Thurs evening) - it seems like its on a motorway so probably can't walk it! Cheers for your help! JamesT977
I chose Bruce Springsteen, Metallica and Radiohead. Bruce Springsteen purely because Geoff said he wasn't T's demographic and i felt that being a fan i needed to try prove wrong!

Red Day
I wouldn't put money on it. Longer it's left the less chance a clashfinder appears and the more chance Geoff gets to fleece you for a lanyard which is normally incorrect anyway. #cynical
